Colores

Sculpture collection

2008 – 2021

Two images from this collection:

The first one is the Brazilian stone handicrafts that were made in the years, between the ’60s and the ’80s from the XX century. These pieces were trees and birds made from different combinations of colored semi-precious stones; in the times when all kinds of quartz, tourmalines, and agates were valueless.

The second image that has come along with the creation of this collection is the almost obsessive attraction I have for the imaginary spaceships designed by Francis Crick.

Another thing that could be important to say about it,  is the beautiful sense that combining colors gives; a privilege that most times belong to the two-dimension art formats.
